1. The Gist Memo LLC ("we", "us") builds software tools including MEMO (for relationship management) and Loop (for task management). We believe your data is yours. We do not sell your data to third parties. Ever.

2. Scope This policy applies to all our applications ("Services") and our website. By using our Services, you agree to this policy.

3. Data We Collect Depending on which App you use, we collect:

• Account Info: Name, email, and password (hashed) to secure your account.
• User Content (MEMO): Contact details, notes, birthdays, and relationship history you enter.
• User Content (Loop): Tasks, reminders, and lists you create.
• Usage Data: Anonymous logs of which features you use and crash reports (to help us fix bugs).
• Device Data: IP address and device type (for security and debugging).

4. How We Use Your Data

• To Provide the Service: We store your tasks and contacts so they sync across your devices.
• To Improve: We analyze anonymous usage patterns to see which features are popular.
• To Communicate: We send transaction receipts and essential product updates.

5. Third-Party Infrastructure (The "Sub-Processors") We don't build our own data centers. We use industry-standard infrastructure to run our Services. Your data passes through:

• Supabase: Database and Authentication (secure storage).
• Stripe: Payments (we never see your full credit card number).
• Loops / Resend: Email delivery (for login links and updates).
• Sentry: Error tracking (helps us fix crashes).

6. Data Security

• Location: Your data is stored in the United States.
• Encryption: Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest (in the database).
• Access: Our employees access your data only if required to provide support or fix a critical bug.

7. Your Rights You own your data. You can:

• Export: Request a copy of your data.
• Delete: Delete your account and all associated data via the in-app Settings.
• Unsubscribe: Opt-out of non-essential emails.
